Living in the Southside
Homes in the Southside are typically modest ranch-style houses and patio homes built in the 1960s and 70s, alongside townhouses, apartments, and pockets of newer construction and grand estates. Popular pockets include Habersham Woods, known for its central location and traditional houses, and Coffee Bluff, a maritime community with homes near saltwater marshes and access to the Forest River.
Golfers have four courses to choose from in the area, tennis players can find courts at nearly every local park, and residents are close to Hunter Army Airfield and a wide range of shopping, dining, and recreation — all without the drive downtown.
