Woodville-Tompkins Technical & Career High School is the career and technical education magnet of the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS), located at 151 Coach Joe Turner Street in Savannah. It serves grades 9 through 12 and pairs full academic coursework with hands-on, industry-aligned training designed to have students job- and college-ready at graduation.
Programs span healthcare, technical trades, business, and workforce-oriented pathways, including logistics, construction, culinary arts, and automotive technology, alongside AP coursework, honors classes, and dual-enrollment options that let students earn college credit while still in high school. Many students graduate with industry certifications, such as CNA licenses, already in hand.
How Admission Works
Woodville-Tompkins is an SCCPSS Choice Program, open to students throughout the district via the Choice Program lottery rather than a home attendance zone. Students who don’t gain a full-time seat, or who are waitlisted, can still participate part-time as a “Shared Program” student, attending Woodville-Tompkins for career-technical classes while enrolled at their home high school — ask your school counselor for details.
