Marshpoint Elementary Environmental Sciences/STEAM | SCCPSS Choice Program, Savannah GA

Marshpoint Elementary School, located at 135 Whitemarsh Island Road in Savannah, is home to the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System’s (SCCPSS) Environmental Sciences/STEAM Choice Program — a K-5 program open to applicants across Chatham County through the district’s lottery process.

The program integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math into a challenging, hands-on framework that helps students connect classroom learning to the real world. The Arts component is woven throughout the STEM subjects to build creative problem-solving and communication skills, giving every student in the program — not just those on an “advanced” track — a deeper, more applied way to explore each subject.

How Admission Works

Marshpoint’s Environmental Sciences/STEAM program is an SCCPSS Choice Program, meaning students from anywhere in the district can apply through the annual lottery; living in a specific attendance zone isn’t required.

Considering the School Zone?

Marshpoint sits on Whitemarsh Island alongside Islands High School, convenient to Savannah’s eastern neighborhoods and the barrier islands. Reach out to our team for help finding a home in that area, or anywhere else in Chatham County that keeps your family eligible for SCCPSS Choice Programs.
